Role Overview
As a Workday Specialist stationed in Warwick, you will manage the daily configuration, administration, and optimization of the Workday system to maintain data integrity and deliver an excellent user interface and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning and maintaining Workday configurations to maximize system performance.
- Serving as the Workday subject matter expert to assist HR teams with system support, issue resolution, and process improvements.
- Leading end-to-end implementation of Workday system changes including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, and deployment.
- Collaborating with HR, IT, and external vendors to manage system upgrades, releases, integrations, and support organizational changes such as acquisitions.
- Handling data imports, reporting tasks, and configuring business processes for efficient and compliant HR procedures.
- Developing and updating system documentation, governance protocols, and audit controls to ensure continued accuracy and compliance.
Working Hours
The position requires a 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven practical experience in Workday configuration, administration, and support within HR systems or specialized Workday roles.
- Deep understanding of Workday business processes, security, organizational structures, reporting functionalities, and mass data load processes such as EIBs.
- Track record of successfully executing system enhancements, updates, and ongoing improvement projects in Workday.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving capabilities, and stakeholder management skills, adept at transforming business needs into system solutions.
- Experience collaborating with HR, IT, and external partners to deliver projects and resolve complex Workday issues.
- Expertise in data management, reporting, and systems analysis that emphasizes data accuracy, governance, and user satisfaction.
