We seek a dependable and diligent Waste Collection Operator to become a vital member of our sanitation crew. This position plays an essential role in upholding hygiene and cleanliness across public and residential spaces by efficiently collecting and appropriately disposing of waste. Key Duties

• Operate or assist in gathering waste and recyclables from homes, businesses, and public zones.
• Load and unload waste into designated collection vehicles, ensuring careful handling and disposal methods.
• Follow assigned collection routes and timetables consistently.
• Keep collection vehicles and associated equipment clean and safe for use.
• Report concerns such as broken bins, hazardous materials, or blocked collection spots to supervisors promptly.
• Strictly comply with safety regulations and environmental guidelines during waste handling.
• Support emergency waste clearance efforts after storms or special events.

Candidate Requirements

• Completion of high school or equivalent, preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior experience in waste management, sanitation services, or related work is advantageous.
• Physical capability to perform strenuous tasks including heavy lifting and working under various weather conditions.
• Familiarity with environmental waste disposal policies and safety measures.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain efficiency in fast-paced scenarios.
• Possession of a valid driver's license is preferred for operating collection vehicles.
