Role Overview

Embedded within the Trade Counter team in Palmerston, this role involves assisting plumbers and other tradespeople to access essential materials for construction and renovation, along with executing multiple warehouse and branch operational duties to ensure smooth functioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out pick packing alongside stock management duties.
• Manage the receipt and dispatch of goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety within the warehouse and branch premises.
• Occasionally provide product information and customer support.
• Perform occasional customer deliveries utilizing a company vehicle.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses prior experience in warehouse operations or within a trade-centre.
• Capable of order picking, shop floor display maintenance, ensuring accuracy of information given.
• Comfortable with computer use and eager to learn new digital systems.
• Holds a current, clean driver’s license with flexibility to work various shifts including weekends.
• Has a valid forklift license or willingness to acquire one.
