Job description
Role Overview
The Visual Merchandising Executive is responsible for leading and coordinating visual merchandising strategies throughout the MEIA region to ensure brand coherence and support business goals. This role requires collaboration with various departments including Retail, Marketing, Logistics, Headquarters, and local boutiques to drive impactful visual displays, product launches, and manage Point of Sale Materials (POSM) across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive effective implementation of Visual Merchandising across the MEIA retail network to maximize business performance.
- Ensure adherence to Piaget's international visual merchandising standards at all sales points while customizing to boutique-specific requirements.
- Oversee POSM management including forecasting, ordering, logistics, and inventory control throughout the region.
- Coordinate seasonal campaigns, window displays, product launches, and update boutique presentations as per the marketing calendar.
- Provide on-site assistance during key launches, seasonal updates, and VM installations as necessary.
- Liaise with Retail and Marketing departments to align boutique activations with commercial and client experience objectives.
- Serve as the principal coordinator between boutiques, headquarters, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of visual merchandising projects.
- Develop, communicate, and monitor annual visibility plans tailored for boutiques and points of sale, ensuring compliance with brand and local business needs.
- Support new boutique openings and related VM activities.
- Conduct regular reviews of POSM storage and condition, coordinating redistribution or discard of outdated materials.
- Manage VM for events including exhibitions, special boutique activations, and openings, ensuring impactful presentations in partnership with Marketing and Retail.
- Produce compliance reports and performance analyses following boutique visits and network assessments; share insights and recommendations with internal stakeholders.
Educational and Professional Profile
- Degree in Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, or equivalent field.
- Minimum of two years experience in Visual Merchandising, Retail Operations, or Project Management within the luxury goods sector.
- Preferably experienced in the luxury jewelry and watch retail market.
Skills and Abilities
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong project management capabilities with the competency to handle multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders.
- Proficient analytical skills to interpret data and convert into actionable merchandising strategies.
- Experience with SAP or comparable enterprise systems is advantageous.
Interpersonal and Language Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective stakeholder management and collaboration skills with a proactive approach to solutions.
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and capable of managing several priorities in a fast-paced, multicultural work environment.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic and/or French is a plus.
