Vice President Supply Chain

Position Overview

The Vice President (VP) oversees comprehensive strategic planning, operational management, and ongoing enhancement of the company's entire supply chain framework. Responsibilities include managing suppliers, defining procurement strategies, coordinating production, controlling inventory, optimizing logistics, mitigating supply chain risks, and designing a global supply chain network. The VP ensures that supply chain operations run smoothly and efficiently to improve the company's delivery performance, cost competitiveness, and overall operational excellence in the international jewelry market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop medium and long-term supply chain strategies and optimize global supply chain operations and footprints.
• Create an effective, stable, and sustainable model for supply chain management while advancing digitalization and process improvements.
• Design global procurement strategies and resource plans, manage supplier relationships, and enhance supplier quality and collaboration.
• Harmonize production, procurement, warehousing, and logistics activities to meet market demands efficiently with standardized supply chain processes.
• Design inventory management strategies to reduce costs and improve turnover, while optimizing worldwide logistics and distribution networks.
• Analyze supply chain data and market trends to drive continuous improvement of cost control, delivery, and operational KPIs.
• Identify supply chain risks, establish early warning and response measures, and ensure compliance with laws and standards for secure global operations.

Qualifications

• 20 to 25 years of experience in supply chain or procurement management or a related field.
• At least 8 years in senior leadership roles (director level or higher).
• Preferably experienced with supply chains in jewelry, luxury goods, or premium manufacturing sectors.
• Background in global procurement, international supply chain, or cross-border operations is advantageous.
• Strong skills in strategic planning, supplier management, cost control, leadership, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
