About the Role
Join Snoonu as a Category Manager, taking full responsibility for the commercial strategy across a set of strategic vendors within Retail by Snoonu. Your role involves identifying opportunities for expansion, negotiating impactful commercial agreements, optimizing product assortment and pricing, and working collaboratively with various teams to enhance both customer and vendor experiences. Your efforts will drive ambitious goals in revenue and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of strategic vendors for Retail by Snoonu.
- Negotiate terms of commerce including pricing, promotional activity, and advertising investment.
- Lead the sourcing and onboarding process for new local and international vendors.
- Develop strategies for category growth, assortment, and marketing.
- Track inventory availability, competitive pricing, and maintain catalog quality.
- Ensure delivery of excellent customer and vendor experiences.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 4 to 5 years of experience in category management, vendor management, or buying roles.
- Background in e-commerce, quick-commerce, or retail industries.
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in data interpretation.
- Experience with B2B negotiation processes.
- Previous category or vendor management experience within the GCC region is advantageous.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in management, engineering, or a related field; master's degree is a plus.
- Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are beneficial.
