Role Overview

As a UX/UI Designer at Momence, you will be instrumental in crafting intuitive and visually appealing digital experiences. Collaborating with teams spanning product management, development, and stakeholders, you’ll translate user needs into engaging interfaces that prioritize usability and aesthetics. A deep passion for user-centered design and mastery in research methodologies are essential, alongside proficiency with key design tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage closely with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and ensure design solutions align with business objectives.
• Communicate design ideas clearly to obtain feedback and promote collaboration.
• Support developers during implementation by clarifying designs and addressing queries.
• Conduct user research to capture insights on user behaviors and challenges, guiding design choices.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to model engaging user experiences and iterate designs based on feedback and usability tests.
• Design consistent, visually compelling interfaces aligned with brand identity, utilizing strong layout, graphic, and iconography skills.
• Organize and structure information effectively, designing sitemaps and navigation systems for seamless interaction.
• Contribute to crafting and maintaining design systems and style guides to guarantee product consistency and foster design efficiency.
• Keep abreast of current design trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously innovate user experience offerings.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years experience in UX/UI or product design roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• A compelling portfolio demonstrating a variety of UX/UI projects and proof of solid design foundations.
• Strong capability in widely-used design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or comparable applications.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and frontend development concepts to enhance communication with developers.
• Expertise in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design principles.
• Proven experience leading user research, usability testing, and applying user-focused design methodologies.
• Competency in prototyping software including InVision, Marvel, or Axure.
• Superior problem-solving ability to tackle design challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to present and justify design decisions convincingly.
• Experience in Agile environments collaborating closely with development teams.
• A meticulous eye for detail aiming to deliver top-quality designs that enrich user experience.
• Updated understanding of design industry trends, emerging tech, and UX/UI best practices.
• Fluent English language skills for everyday communication.
• Residency in the Czech Republic with flexible work options including onsite in Prague office, fully remote, or hybrid arrangements.
