UX Researcher

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced UX Researcher with expertise in mixed methods and a strong quantitative focus to join a product-focused research team. While the majority of daily tasks are qualitative, the ideal candidate should possess deep qualitative research skills alongside comfort with measurement design, statistical concepts, and the ability to interpret results quantitatively. The role demands a proactive, collaborative individual capable of independently driving research projects within a complex cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute qualitative research methods such as in-depth interviews and cognitive interviewing related to survey and measurement design.
• Plan and implement mixed methods research to influence product and business strategies.
• Integrate and translate qualitative insights into measurable business outcomes.
• Apply quantitative reasoning to research design, data analysis, and interpretation.
• Collaborate with research, product, and other stakeholders across departments.
• Identify and anticipate research requirements, risks, dependencies, and impacts.
• Communicate results clearly, providing actionable recommendations to all stakeholders.
• Manage research priorities and drive projects independently.

Required Qualifications

• Strong expertise in mixed methods research with a focus on deep qualitative techniques.
• Solid foundation in quantitative analysis and statistical concepts including regression modeling.
• Experience in measurement design, survey research, and cognitive interviewing.
• Ability to connect qualitative findings with measurable product or business metrics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant research experience in software, technology, or product settings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Approximately ten or more years of applicable research experience; flexible based on education and professional background.
• Advanced academic degree such as a PhD coupled with applicable industry experience.
• Experience conducting complex software or digital product research.
• Familiarity with large-scale cross-functional product organizations.

Additional Information

Location: Remote within the United States

Contract Duration: Six months

Compensation: $60 to $75 per hour

Work Eligibility: Candidates must be U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
