Transport Operation Executive

Kalayatan Cargo & Logistics Pvt. Ltd. in Surat, Gujarat, is hiring a Transport Operation Executive with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in transport or cargo. This role requires a graduate and involves coordinating various transport and logistics activities effectively.

Key Duties

• Manage booking of consignments and preparation of billing ensuring system entries are accurate.
• Support daily delivery operations and prepare required transportation and delivery documentation in the specified format.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and work towards their resolution.
• Oversee warehouse maintenance to ensure smooth functioning.
• Compose and respond to email inquiries from different branches.
• Maintain and update daily expense records and follow up on payments with relevant parties.
• Track daily logs for incoming and outgoing vehicles with precision.
• Confirm that delivery documents are properly signed and stamped (Proof of Delivery).
• Keep a daily register of new client details following prescribed formats and forward weekly reports to the sales office.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Branch Head and Head Office.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate degree qualification.
• 3 to 5 years prior experience in transport or cargo management.
• Good communication skills for effective coordination and customer interaction.
• Basic computer proficiency to manage system entries and documentation.
