Translator (Gã-English)

Role Overview

We are looking for a bilingual expert in Gã and English to join our team on a contract basis. This remote role involves transcription, linguistic analysis, and annotation tasks done with high precision. The position offers an hourly compensation of $45 to $95 and requires a weekly commitment ranging from 10 to 40 hours.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe spoken content from videos in both Gã and English accurately.
• Mark timestamps to align transcriptions with video timelines.
• Interpret and describe the speakers' emotional tone and intentions for nuanced comprehension.
• Annotate grammatical, vocabulary, and syntactic elements in both languages.
• Define conceptual meanings including cultural and contextual nuances of language components.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to solve complex language challenges.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines set by the project guidelines.

Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Gã and fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proven skill in accurately transcribing and analyzing spoken language content.
