Trainer – Fall Protection Training

Overview

Our client, a leading entity in safety and industrial solutions, is seeking a Trainer for Fall Protection Training based in Abu Dhabi. This role involves delivering comprehensive training programs, assisting in business expansion, and upholding health, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct specialized training sessions on fall protection and safety techniques for customers throughout the region.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align training efforts with business goals.
• Plan, coordinate, and assess training courses to maximize effectiveness.
• Create and update training materials ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain thorough training records and manage internal knowledge bases.
• Offer technical advice and customize training solutions for clients as needed.
• Assist with audits, site evaluations, and customer feedback initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety policies and quality control standards.
• Represent the company at client meetings, seminars, and industry forums.
• Manage technical inquiries and support the preparation of quotations and tenders.
• Stay current with regulatory changes and adjust training content accordingly.
• Maintain compliance with accreditation and certification standards.
• Participate in risk assessments and support operational safety measures.
• Travel regionally within the Middle East and internationally as required.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Experience delivering training or technical instruction, especially in safety-related topics.
• Sound understanding of working at heights, confined space protocols, and related safety procedures.
• Preferably holds IOSH or NEBOSH certifications.
• Familiarity with fall protection equipment and personal protective equipment inspections.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal capabilities.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital reporting software.
• Physically capable of performing tasks at heights when necessary.
• Prepared for frequent travel commitments.
• Fluent English communication skills; other language abilities are advantageous.
