Singapore Aero Engine Services Private Limited (SAESL) is a joint venture between Rolls-Royce Plc and SIA Engineering Company, operational since 2001. It has established itself as a leading provider of engine overhaul and component repair solutions. SAESL specializes in servicing the entire Trent engine family, including Trent 500, 700, 800, 900, 1000, and XWB. It is uniquely positioned as the only Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) service provider capable of supporting all Trent engine variants. The company manages over 300 engine repairs annually and features a cutting-edge Engine Test Facility to ensure rapid turnaround times.

Role Overview
This traineeship offers an entry pathway into the aviation sector for individuals lacking formal training as aircraft engine technicians. Successful participants will embark on a career as certified aircraft engine technicians after completing the program.
Training Program Details
- A fully sponsored one-year training program that includes allowances
- Initial orientation within SAESL to familiarize with the work environment
- Three months of classroom instruction combining theoretical knowledge and practical skills, conducted and assessed by an external training academy
- Nine months of hands-on training at SAESL focusing on Rolls-Royce Trent Engines
- Upon program completion, technicians will be required to commit to a two-year bond with SAESL
Eligibility and Requirements
- Applicants must have completed NITEC, Higher NITEC, or a Diploma in Engineering fields such as Aeronautical, Avionics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Precision Engineering
- Completion of or exemption from full-time National Service is mandatory
- Candidates must be willing to work rotating shifts
