Role Overview
BMW Group is looking for a seasoned Total Rewards Specialist to join its HR function in Singapore. The role acts as a technical expert for payroll and compensation & benefits, with strong emphasis on digital transformation, process improvement, and reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full payroll cycle end to end while making sure all statutory obligations are met, including CPF, tax submissions, IR8A, IR21, and related requirements.
- Act as the go-to specialist for payroll and compensation & benefits matters, guiding managers and stakeholders on sound practices and updates in regulations.
- Lead HR digitalization efforts such as system enhancements, workflow automation, and data-driven analysis for payroll and C&B processes.
- Administer SAP SuccessFactor and the payroll system, with attention to smooth integration, upkeep, and optimal performance.
- Handle HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, job changes, and exit processing, while continuously improving processes.
- Work with internal and external auditors on payroll reviews and help maintain strong control frameworks.
- Support HR Business Partners with budgeting, compensation comparisons, and workforce planning initiatives.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in payroll and compensation & benefits, ideally in a regional or multinational setup.
- Demonstrated experience in leading HR digitalization or transformation initiatives.
- Solid understanding of Singapore employment legislation and statutory payroll obligations.
- Advanced capability in HRIS and payroll platforms such as SAP SuccessFactor, along with data analytics and process enhancement skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication, stakeholder coordination, and project leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and comfortable working independently in a high-paced environment.
