Role Overview
Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Total Rewards Analyst is pivotal in managing and optimizing global total rewards programs—covering payroll, benefits, compensation, and equity administration. This role ensures accurate employee data, compliance, reporting efficiency, and an excellent employee experience for BOA’s international workforce.
As the subject matter expert, the analyst supports and advises on payroll, benefits, bonuses, and equity programs. Collaborating closely with the Chief People & Culture Officer and Finance team, the role contributes to strategic compensation planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee U.S. payroll operations, including profit-sharing bonuses and equity program administration with third-party providers.
- Maintain and review equity and profit-sharing calculations with global leadership to ensure timely payouts.
- Assist in annual compensation reviews, pay equity assessments, and implement process improvements.
- Handle employee offboarding with accurate payroll, benefits transitions, and COBRA administration.
- Enhance and automate total compensation statements and rewards reporting.
- Manage U.S. benefits enrollment, including onboarding, life events, open enrollment, and ongoing employee support.
- Lead annual benefits renewals in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Administer PFML/FAMLI leave programs and support claim processes.
- Work with People & Culture to analyze and improve employee benefits using data insights.
- Maintain vendor and broker relationships related to total rewards programs.
- Coordinate U.S. financial wellness initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance in Total Rewards systems like UKG, driving reporting and analytics to inform decision-making.
- Implement automation and streamline processes across compensation statements, data management, and reporting.
- Perform regular audits and maintain precise employee and contractor data globally.
- Manage reconciliations and compliance reporting with vendors to maintain operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate on enhancing UKG functionality alongside the People & Culture Analyst.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
- At least five years administering payroll, compensation, benefits, or total rewards programs, ideally with UKG/Ultimate Software experience.
- Private sector experience supporting total rewards initiatives.
- Advanced analytical skills, proficient in Excel, experienced with large datasets and reporting.
- Proven track record in process improvement, automation, or HRIS technologies enhancing efficiency.
- Maintains confidentiality and accuracy handling sensitive employee data.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities with capability to multitask independently.
- Excellent collaboration skills working across teams and geographies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing equity compensation programs.
- Involvement in annual compensation reviews, pay equity, or salary planning.
- Familiarity with creating or automating total compensation statements.
- Handling benefits renewals, vendor management, and compliance reporting.
- Utilization of UKG reporting, workflow, and employee self-service features.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range between $80,000 and $95,000 depending on experience and role fit.
- Eligibility for an annual bonus percentage.
