Position Overview

Join Babcock International Group as a Tool Stores Operative stationed at RAF Valley, Isle of Anglesey, Wales. This permanent full-time role offers a salary of £32,206.58 plus benefits, where you'll be integral in supporting aircraft maintenance by effectively managing tools and equipment within a regulated aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling the acceptance, identification, inspection, registration, and ongoing monitoring of tool inventory in the stores.
• Keeping precise records and documentation to guarantee equipment traceability.
• Participating in stock management by identifying shortages, discrepancies, damages, or losses, and reporting them properly.
• Labeling, storing, securing, and controlling equipment in compliance with company regulations and aviation standards.
• Assisting with audits, investigations, and implementing continuous improvements to maintain compliance and enhance operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in stores, logistics, supply chain, or inventory management settings.
• Knowledge of stock control processes and the importance of maintaining accurate, traceable records.
• Familiarity with company and regulatory procedures and compliance requirements.
• Understanding of equipment control, calibration, or asset management principles.
• Ability to work with accuracy while managing workload priorities and maintaining close attention to detail.

Qualifications and Eligibility

• GCSE level education or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance is mandatory.

Working Conditions

This full-time position requires 36 working hours weekly onsite at RAF Valley, near Holyhead, Anglesey.
