Test Lead for SaaS Billing Platform Implementation

Role Overview

We are seeking a Test Lead to spearhead the testing strategy for a significant utility billing platform implementation on a SaaS billing system, with an 18-month fixed-term contract commencing immediately.

About the Company

The client is a rapidly growing SaaS billing platform developed natively on Salesforce, focused on expanding local implementation capabilities alongside established global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and own the comprehensive test strategy from project initiation to go-live for the billing implementation.
• Manage coordination of system, integration, user acceptance (UAT), and regression testing phases throughout the program.
• Engage directly with client stakeholders to facilitate UAT, lead defect triage sessions, and report testing progress and risks to program leadership.
• Influence and establish testing frameworks, templates, and quality standards as the practice grows regionally.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven hands-on leadership experience in formulating and executing test strategies for billing system implementations.
• Essential expertise in Bill Confidence Testing, validating accurate customer charging across billing scenarios, often performed alongside legacy systems prior to deployment.
• Experience in coordinating UAT activities directly with business stakeholders in enterprise SaaS or large-scale application environments.
• Strong skills in defect management and quality assurance able to balance multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
