We are seeking a dedicated Temporary Member Advocate to join our customer support team. This role involves working alongside social workers, patient advocates, health coaches, nutritionists, and nurses to assist our members in resolving everyday healthcare-related issues.
Key Duties
- Offer clear and precise guidance on health insurance and employer benefits across various communication channels such as phone, text, chat, and email.
- Support new members during onboarding, helping them comprehend and choose suitable health plans and guiding them through other necessary steps.
- Assist members throughout their healthcare journeys, including locating providers, resolving claim problems, and referring them to specialized clinical care managers.
- Provide constructive feedback to the product team concerning member support challenges to enhance user experience.
- Maintain a supportive environment to ensure members feel well cared for and satisfied with the services.
Preferred Qualifications and Attributes
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree with approximately two years of related experience in social work, patient advocacy, or health coaching.
- Comfortable working remotely and adept at using modern web-based applications developed in-house.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Basic familiarity with healthcare systems and insurance benefits is advantageous.
