About the Role

As a Technical Supervisor, you will lead a diverse team of maintenance technicians, overseeing daily maintenance activities to optimize line availability, technical efficiency, and team effectiveness within a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the daily tasks of the maintenance team, balancing scheduled maintenance with urgent repairs in close coordination with Production.
- Conduct shift handovers and guide the daily maintenance routines, maintaining visibility of upcoming weekly schedules and engaging specialized maintenance teams as necessary.
- Ensure strict adherence to execution protocols, including use of proper procedures, tools, spare parts, personal protective equipment, and comprehensive task documentation before proceeding.
- Provide on-call support for critical breakdowns beyond regular hours.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-skilled maintenance team, ensuring adequate shift coverage, attendance, and backup arrangements.
- Implement technical and behavioral training through structured coaching, operator process learning (OPL), and the Competence Building Plan.
- Serve as the primary escalation contact during breakdowns, directing diagnosis, resource allocation, and recording activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards including lockout-tagout (LOTO), work permits, working at heights, confined space, and electrical safety, while aligning with Nestlé’s engineering and quality protocols.
Qualifications and Experience
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years in industrial maintenance roles, including at least 2 years in supervisory positions preferably within FMCG or process industries.
Essential Skills and Competencies
- Proficient engineering and maintenance expertise with recognized technical skills.
- Experience with CMMS/AMM systems, ideally SAP PM, with the ability to extract and utilize maintenance data efficiently.
- Familiarity with TPM and NCE methodologies focusing on preventive and autonomous maintenance pillars.
- Robust leadership qualities with the ability to coach and confidently challenge technicians and peers alike.
- Willingness and readiness to work in rotational shifts.
