Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Technical Pilot to join the Airbus Management team as a crucial member of our flight operations division. This role serves as the main liaison for all Airbus technical matters, collaborating closely with Airbus, other airlines, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and suppliers. The Technical Pilot will represent Flight Operations regarding Airbus-related technical issues, managing both new and ongoing fleet concerns along with operational technical challenges.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 10 years' experience as a commercial pilot, including significant flying time on aircraft relevant to Riyadh Air's fleet such as the A320 family.
• At least 5 years of experience commanding either Narrowbody or Widebody Airbus aircraft.
• Over 2 years in supervisory or management roles within a major airline's flight operations environment.
• Possession or history of Check Airman approval (e.g., TRI/TRE) or equivalent qualifications.
• Current ICAO ATPL license with a valid unrestricted class one medical certificate.
• ICAO English level 5 certification or higher.
• Recent experience with at least 150 command flight hours logged in the 12 months preceding joining Riyadh Air.
• Applicants must be under 59 years of age.

This role also entails active operational flying duties alongside management responsibilities.
