Team Leader

Position Overview

The Team Leader role at our Tranent location is a full-time permanent position responsible for managing the daily operations of a specific department within the store. This role involves guiding team members, maintaining efficient workflows, and ensuring excellent customer service at all times. Team Leaders serve as an essential link between store management and floor staff, providing support and leadership throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support colleagues through day-to-day department activities.
• Manage stock effectively and oversee the smooth operation of the section.
• Assist new team members with training and integration.
• Address issues on the floor promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with the manager to uphold high standards and maintain team motivation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or other customer service roles.
• Willingness to take responsibility and support team members.

• Availability to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.

Compensation and Working Hours

• Hourly rate of £14.10.
• Work schedule consists of 36 hours per week, primarily daytime shifts.
