Overview

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is actively seeking Team Leaders for roles based in St. Thomas, Ontario. Shifts are available during the afternoon and night, offering an hourly wage of $18.50 plus an additional $1.25 shift premium for these timings.

Primary Duties

The Team Leader is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction by delivering superior quality services and supporting, training, and motivating team members. They will lead and guide on-site staff, foster a positive and efficient work environment, and ensure adherence to company and customer standards. Reporting may be to the Site Manager or senior supervisory personnel.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and site team members.
Facilitate daily communications among various site stakeholders.
Support Site Leaders by assisting in operations and training inspectors, ensuring process compliance through audits.
Communicate project and task updates clearly to team inspectors.
Document and escalate non-conformances appropriately.
Make independent decisions in subjective or emergent scenarios based on project requirements.
Troubleshoot process challenges collaboratively with leadership.
Manage material logistics using inventory tools like scanners as needed.
Perform inspection duties when required.
Uphold compliance with Health & Safety regulations and all company/customer policies.
Promote clean and organized workplaces with 5S/6S standards.
Maintain and report on company data using web portals and documentation systems.
Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned.

Required Knowledge and Skills

Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Competent use of various measurement instruments and gauges.
Ability to adapt and remain flexible in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
Confidentiality and initiative in handling sensitive information.
Physical capability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Experience working in repetitive physical environments involving various movements (lifting, twisting, bending, etc.).
Able to work safely around heat, cold, noise, machinery, fumes, and odors.
Willingness and ability to travel flexibly if required.

Qualifications and Experience

At least 1 year of experience in a quality-related role is preferred.
Proven leadership capabilities.
High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
