Job Overview

The role involves fostering a secure and supportive educational environment for children. The teacher will be responsible for developing positive and continuous interactions with both children and their parents, ensuring comprehensive supervision throughout the day at all key times such as arrival, meals, naps, and washroom visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe learning atmosphere.
• Build constructive relationships with children and guardians.
• Provide diverse materials and resources to support learning and imaginative play.
• Enforce organizational policies and daily documentation such as observations and anecdotes.
• Design and implement curriculum plans with guided activities.
• Conduct bi-monthly parental communications addressing concerns while maintaining positive relations.
• Assist children during meal times following Footprints Standard protocols.
• Collaborate with colleagues and administrators in the evaluation and enhancement of high-scope educational programs.
• Manage classroom educational supplies and adapt teaching strategies according to children's needs.
• Participate fully in training sessions.
