TCC Liaison Officer

Role Overview

The TCC Liaison Officer is pivotal in facilitating seamless coordination between the Transportation Control Centre (TCC) and field teams throughout the Operations & Maintenance phase of the metro system. This position ensures effective traffic flow, rapid incident management, and uninterrupted communication among all operational stakeholders to maintain high standards of service reliability and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities between the TCC and operational units to guarantee smooth metro network operations.
• Manage traffic flow and uphold consistent operational service across the system.
• Serve as the main contact point during incidents and service interruptions.
• Communicate, escalate, and resolve operational challenges promptly.
• Assist the TCC in live monitoring and decision-making processes.
• Oversee dispatch coordination ensuring synchronization with on-ground teams.
• Maintain precise and timely exchange of information between the control center and field personnel.
• Contribute to developing and applying incident management procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational guidelines.
• Collaborate with Operations & Maintenance contractors, technical experts, and employer representatives.
• Support operational assessments, reporting, and performance reviews.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Traffic Management, or a similar discipline.
• At least 5 years' experience in transportation operations, preferably within metro or rail systems.
• Deep knowledge of transportation management platforms and control room functions.
• Proven experience handling incidents and coordinating operational activities.
• Excellent organizational aptitude and capacity to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to perform effectively in high-stress, real-time scenarios.
• Good analytical and decision-making skills.
• Well-versed in safety standards and operational protocols.
