Talent Acquisition Supervisor

Overview

Twyford International, a leading tile manufacturer recognized globally for quality and African craftsmanship, seeks a Talent Acquisition Supervisor based in Lusaka, Zambia. The company boasts an extensive presence with multiple manufacturing units across Africa and their products reaching over a billion people worldwide.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies aligned with business needs, managing all stages of the hiring process from screening resumes to onboarding new employees.
• Proactively source and headhunt senior-level talent via LinkedIn, recruitment portals, social media, networking, and other channels to fill critical roles.
• Provide recruitment support for urgent specialist roles across group subsidiaries.
• Conduct talent mapping exercises and benchmark industry talent to build and sustain a robust internal talent pool.
• Oversee African recruitment channels’ operations, monitor performance, generate reports, optimize procedures, and expand sourcing channels.
• Implement comprehensive employee retention practices focusing on enhancing probation period retention including onboarding, continuous feedback, and probation assessments.
• Collaborate toward improvements in recruitment systems ensuring compliance, efficiency, and high service quality.

Candidate Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of professional recruitment experience, with preference for candidates from building materials or manufacturing sectors.
• Proven ability to independently conduct interviews with strong skills in candidate evaluation and negotiation.
• Experience with headhunting senior talent, conducting talent mapping, and sourcing within African markets.
• Familiarity with major African recruitment platforms including LinkedIn, and an understanding of local talent market trends.
• Strong communication abilities, responsibility, proactive mindset, quick learning aptitude, interpersonal skills, and readiness to escalate issues and drive resolutions.
