Role Overview
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Ferguson, you will be a key strategic partner responsible for supporting hiring across the company’s Corporate Functions and Customer Groups. This role involves managing the full recruiting cycle—from initiating hiring discussions through to offer acceptance—while building strong relationships with business leaders to attract top talent. The position offers remote work within the United States, ideally for candidates based in the Eastern or Central Time Zones, to align with core business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for a variety of salaried positions.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and define recruitment strategies.
- Develop and maintain robust candidate pipelines via proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, and digital recruitment channels.
- Conduct thorough candidate screenings and assessments to advise hiring decisions.
- Ensure excellent communication and responsiveness to create outstanding experiences for candidates and hiring managers.
- Leverage recruiting data, market trends, and company insights to guide and improve hiring outcomes.
- Continuously identify and implement enhancements in recruiting approaches and operational processes.
- Represent Ferguson’s employer brand internally and externally as a trusted recruitment partner.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing full-cycle recruitment, preferably with exposure to professional, corporate, and/or field roles.
- Proven skills in sourcing and securing top-tier talent.
- Ability to build credibility quickly and establish strong partnerships across various leadership levels.
- Consultative mindset with confidence in engaging stakeholders at multiple organizational tiers.
- Exceptional organizational skills to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and readiness to introduce innovative ideas.
- Familiarity with Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruitment platforms is advantageous.
Compensation & Benefits
Monthly compensation is estimated between $4,767 and $10,975, varying by location and candidate qualifications. The role is eligible for bonuses or incentive plans.
