About the Role
The Talent Acquisition Manager at Infrarose plays a pivotal role in shaping and leading the full spectrum of hiring activities, ensuring the company attracts and secures top talent to meet organizational goals. This position is vital in a fast-paced environment, requiring a mix of strategic planning and hands-on recruitment execution, notably within the DRC market. The manager collaborates closely with executive leadership, HR teams, and business units to design recruitment frameworks, manage workforce planning, oversee hiring processes, and enhance employer branding.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with business priorities and workforce requirements.
- Lead annual recruitment planning alongside business and HR leaders.
- Establish consistent recruitment policies, procedures, and governance.
- Provide strategic advice to leadership on talent market trends, shortages, and competitive positioning.
- Formulate targeted hiring tactics for critical and hard-to-fill roles, including relocation-based positions in the DRC.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment operations, ensuring compliance, quality, and an excellent candidate experience.
- Personally handle selected senior, confidential, or challenging hiring mandates.
- Apply structured competency-based selection techniques and monitor recruitment KPIs and SLAs for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with PR and Communications to devise and promote the employer value proposition and enhance employer branding initiatives.
- Build and maintain sourcing channels and talent pools using digital platforms and industry networks.
- Represent Infrarose at external talent engagement events, advocating for the company especially in challenging talent markets.
- Utilize recruitment analytics and tools, including Oracle HRIS, to drive insights, reporting, and process optimization.
- Lead and develop the talent acquisition team, fostering leadership and coaching capabilities.
- Partner with HR Shared Services to integrate service delivery models and ensure seamless operational performance and compliance.
Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, Management, or related disciplines; Master's or relevant postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
- Relevant professional certifications in Recruitment, Talent Management, or HR are advantageous.
- 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition or HR roles, including 3 to 5 years in a managerial capacity.
- Proven track record of managing recruitment within complex and evolving business settings, with success in sourcing niche and difficult roles.
- Experience with direct sourcing, headhunting, and recruiting in emerging or challenging markets is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with matrix organizations, shared services environments, and HR systems including ATS platforms.
- Background in sectors such as infrastructure, industrial, energy, mining, or construction is beneficial.
