Accountabilities
- Lead a recruiter pod by keeping the team aligned, productive, and focused on meeting hiring objectives.
- Stay actively involved in recruitment delivery while also providing people leadership and direction.
- Turn broader talent acquisition goals into clear priorities, expectations, and practical actions for the team.
- Hold regular one-to-one conversations centered on performance, development, pipeline strength, and career progression.
- Evaluate and refine recruitment practices across sourcing, outreach, candidate engagement, interviewing, and stakeholder communication.
- Coach recruiters on search strategy, stakeholder handling, sourcing methods, and professional growth.
- Help improve hiring processes so they scale well, stay consistent, and support a strong candidate journey.
- Spot performance issues or team challenges early and work with leadership on effective solutions.
Requirements
- More than 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or executive search.
- At least 2 years spent leading a recruitment team, pod, or similar talent function.
- Proven ability to manage your own recruiting workload while also developing and supporting other recruiters.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end hiring process, including sourcing, outreach, pipeline management, interviewing, and candidate experience.
- Track record of improving recruiting quality through coaching, feedback, and mentorship.
- Solid stakeholder management skills, with experience working across multiple teams and functions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to set expectations clearly and address issues early.
- Strong planning and prioritization abilities, especially when managing competing demands.
- Supportive, empathetic, and collaborative leadership style centered on trust and development.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
