Systems Administrator - Enterprise Applications (IT)

Scopely is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator specializing in Enterprise Applications to join our IT team based in Dublin, Ireland or Barcelona, Spain on a hybrid work basis, or remotely from Portugal or the UK. Role Overview

The ideal candidate will act as the technical lead and owner of our essential collaboration and productivity platforms including Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian (Jira/Confluence), Zoom, and Okta, with a strong focus on AI integration and innovation. Responsibilities include platform architecture, integration, lifecycle management, security, and the rollout and training of AI-enhanced tools.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead technical ownership and expertise over enterprise collaboration and productivity tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, Zoom, Okta, and their AI capabilities.
• Develop platform roadmap, governance policies, and long-term strategies.
• Maintain platform health, oversee integrations, licensing, and optimize operational performance.
• Keep abreast of software updates, AI enhancements, security patches, and industry standards to drive continuous employee productivity improvements.
• Manage deployment, user adoption, and training initiatives for AI-enabled workplace solutions including Gemini, Slack AI, Zoom AI Companion, and Atlassian Rovo.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation, training materials, and best practice guides for supported platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments such as Security, HR, Engineering, Procurement, and Legal to implement scalable and secure solutions.
• Serve as escalation point for complex issues involving integration, automation, and performance optimization.
• Advance operational workflows through automation, scripting, and AI-driven enhancements.
• Oversee enterprise application projects, reporting platform changes and improvements to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Systems Administration, Enterprise Application Administration, or SaaS Platform Management.
• Proven expertise administering Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian (Jira/Confluence), Zoom, and comparable SaaS applications.
• Demonstrated success in managing enterprise application strategies, including governance, vendor relations, and license management.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered workplace technologies such as Gemini, Slack AI, Zoom AI Companion, and Atlassian Rovo.
• Track record of leading organizational AI adoption efforts, including training, documentation, and change management.
• Strong knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices with a proactive approach to innovation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of conveying technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
• Experience drafting technical documentation, standard operating procedures, knowledge base articles, diagrams, and end-user guides.
• Solid project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
• Experience working cross-functionally with security, HR, legal, procurement, and engineering teams.
• A passion for enhancing collaboration, productivity, and user experience through technology and AI-driven solutions.
