Role Overview

The Supply Planning Coordinator is crucial in ensuring product availability throughout the O-I Packaging Solutions network. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Lead, this role collaborates extensively with sourcing, manufacturing, sales, and service teams to develop supply plans, manage inventory, and coordinate intercompany transfers to meet client demands. This position emphasizes data-driven decision-making and cross-functional teamwork to balance customer service, inventory optimization, production capacity, and cost controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and manage sourcing strategies and inventory replenishment schedules that align with demand forecasts.
  • Monitor and coordinate production plans with sourcing partners, adapting to changing forecasts, inventory levels, and customer needs.
  • Work closely with Demand Planning, Sales Service, and Business Management to resolve supply chain challenges and establish aligned supply strategies.
  • Contribute to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) by sharing critical insights about inventory, capacity, supply, and logistics for informed decisions.
  • Control inventory levels to meet customer service goals while optimizing working capital.
  • Analyze inventory safety stock, targets, forecasting inputs, and trends to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain reports covering inventory status, stock transfers, and supply chain dashboards.
  • Manage Stock Transfer Orders and intercompany inventory movements across warehouses and facilities.
  • Oversee daily to monthly inventory control activities across company and third-party warehouse sites.
  • Support repackaging, decoration, and special project initiatives to satisfy customer and operational requirements.
  • Provide analytical assistance on business projects, continuous improvement efforts, and operational performance reviews.
