Job Overview

The Courtyard by Marriott in Riyadh is looking to hire a Storekeeper responsible for receiving, organizing, and managing goods efficiently within the warehouse and for different departments. This position demands adherence to sanitary standards, safety guidelines, and excellent communication within the team and with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and sort goods by department, label them appropriately for accurate warehouse placement, and deliver goods to the relevant departments.
• Stack received items on pallets or carts and fill out inventory and procurement forms accurately.
• Alert supervisors promptly about stock shortages to prevent inventory disruption.
• Accept deliveries, ensure proper storage of perishable goods, and manage stock rotation effectively.
• Inspect deliveries and verify freshness, cleanliness, compliance, and quality; reject damaged or incorrect goods.
• Adhere to hygiene regulations and handling procedures across all food-related zones.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of refrigerators, freezers, floors, equipment, and pipes.
• Remove empty pallets, cartons, and waste, and place them in designated storage areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, or hazardous conditions to supervisors and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Follow company policies and procedures rigorously, including wearing clean, complete uniforms and maintaining a professional appearance.
• Ensure confidentiality of company information and protect all company property.
• Communicate clearly and courteously with customers and colleagues to build positive and collaborative work relationships.
• Comply with all quality standards and safety protocols within the workplace.
• Perform physical tasks involving bending, lifting up to 23 kilograms, twisting, climbing stairs, and prolonged standing or movement as required by the job.
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by supervisors relevant to the position.

Qualifications and Experience

• Required education: Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior related work experience or supervisory experience required.
• No specific certifications or licenses necessary for the role.

Position is full-time and based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, specifically on Olaya Street, Al Murooj District, Northern Ring Road.
