ఉద్యోగ వివరణ
Role purpose
The Stock Controller will be responsible for keeping inventory levels accurate and well controlled across the business, working closely with the Stores Team Leader.
Key duties
- Help improve and maintain the D365 inventory management setup.
- Monitor stock counts and prepare related reports.
- Carry out stock checks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Reconcile physical stock figures with system records and share updates with finance.
- Reduce excess stock and escalate supply chain issues where needed.
- Identify and clear obsolete or surplus items to free up storage space.
- Partner with the Warehouse Manager to support efficient storage arrangements.
- Keep the D365 system current and ensure stock labelling is correct.
- Track deliveries, shipments, and inventory levels through the inventory system.
- Work with the operations team to support wider business objectives.
- Prepare reports for senior management covering stock levels, supply chain progress, process effectiveness, and personnel matters.
- Support the wider team by taking on related tasks as required.
Experience and skills
- Previous experience in a comparable stock control role.
- Understanding of cross-functional working and how departments interact efficiently.
- Background in stock control within a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to negotiate effectively.
- Hands-on experience with MRP or ERP systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication ability.
- Leadership and people management capability.
- Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Confident problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyse data and inventory information.

Finance, Operations, and Warehouse & Stores teams.
