Role Overview

We are seeking a Staff Product Designer Who Codes, a unique role that fuses user-centric design with front-end development. This position bridges the gap between design, product, and engineering by not only creating intuitive feature concepts but also building and shipping code-based solutions. This hands-on role emphasizes rapid prototyping and delivering production-ready interfaces while integrating a design-led approach to product development.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end ownership of product features from problem identification and experience design to coding and deployment.
Develop functional prototypes in code to validate concepts swiftly and gather genuine user feedback.
Collaborate in a fast-paced environment prioritizing results over outputs, partnering with backend and core engineering teams.
Deliver polished, high-quality user interfaces quickly while maintaining design and code excellence.
Advance the UI architecture by enhancing design systems and component libraries to ensure a seamless sync between design and code across platforms.
Boost the entire design team's productivity by mentoring designers to ship code and incorporate AI tools into their workflows, fostering autonomy and technical expertise.

Desired Qualifications

Demonstrated experience designing and coding shipped products using modern technologies such as React, TypeScript, Node.js, or Vue.js.
A portfolio showcasing live, built products rather than just designs, with familiarity in leveraging AI tools for prototyping and workflow acceleration.
Keen sensibility for product quality, crafting intuitive, fast, and delightful user experiences.

Compensation
