Focused on community engagement, we feature local food merchants and family-owned sellers offering end-of-day specials, homegrown products, and everyday deals.

Role Overview

We are seeking a part-time remote Social Media Coordinator to help expand our online presence as we prepare for and execute our Charleston launch. You will craft and schedule content across key platforms, maintain a consistent brand voice encapsulated by our motto "Where deals meet community," and generate excitement around our offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, produce, and publish engaging posts on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Write compelling captions and create or obtain visuals that align with our brand messaging.
• Manage post scheduling and track engagement analytics.
• Oversee community engagement through responding to comments and direct messages, and escalate pertinent feedback.
• Support the launch and growth of Facebook groups affiliated with Dropuli, directly interacting with members to identify potential buyers and vendors.
• Recommend innovative content linked to flash sale events and vendor highlights.

Candidate Qualifications

• Prior experience managing content for business or brand social accounts.
• Excellent writing skills with comfort adopting a casual, community-focused tone.
• Familiarity with social media analytics and audience engagement principles.
• Ability to work independently in a part-time remote setup.
• Proficiency with scheduling platforms such as Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar, alongside basic photo and video editing skills.
• Experience in building or maintaining active Facebook community groups is highly advantageous.
• Background with startups or small businesses is a bonus but not required.
