Site Manager - Interior Project Management

About the Role

We seek a highly capable and forward-thinking Interior Project Manager to autonomously oversee multiple interior project sites, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and to a high standard of quality. This role emphasizes foresight in site requirements, early problem anticipation to avoid delays, strategic planning of materials and manpower, and full ownership of site operations and execution from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage simultaneously 3 to 4 interior or turnkey project sites, facilitating seamless coordination and consistent progress across all locations.
• Develop detailed execution plans, organize work sequences, and prepare short-term schedules aligned with overall project timelines.
• Proactively anticipate upcoming tasks to confirm timely availability of necessary materials, approvals, drawings, vendors, and labor to prevent work stoppages.
• Interpret architectural, interior design, furniture, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, ceiling, and other technical drawings to ensure accurate site execution.
• Calculate and forecast material requirements for various activities and coordinate procurement and delivery accordingly.
• Monitor material usage closely to minimize wastage, shortages, and avoid unnecessary purchases.
• Spot quality issues, execution errors, and technical challenges early and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Maintain efficient coordination between designers, clients, contractors, vendors, workshops, procurement teams, and site supervisors.
• Organize and manage labor and contractor resources to maximize productivity and meet daily and weekly targets.
• Sequence different agencies' activities carefully to prevent delays or damage resulting from overlapping work.
• Perform regular quality inspections ensuring work adheres to approved drawings, specifications, finishes, and workmanship standards.
• Keep thorough records of site measurements, material consumption, progress reports, checklists, and snag lists.
• Follow up and track outstanding decisions and approvals until finalized.
• Handle multiple simultaneous site issues and deliver rapid, sensible decisions for problem-solving.
• Ensure sites remain orderly, safe, and professionally managed at all times.
• Take full accountability for project timelines, quality standards, coordination efforts, and execution through final project handover.

Candidate Profile

• Proactive mindset with the ability to predict future site requirements 7-15 days in advance.
• Strong technical knowledge of interior project execution and interpreting complex drawings.
• Experience managing turnkey residential and commercial interior projects.
• Expertise in material planning, labor management, and vendor liaison.
• Highly organized with exceptional multitasking capabilities across multiple projects.
• Capable of enforcing contractor and labor compliance professionally and firmly.
• Detail-oriented with excellent quality control and workmanship assessment skills.
• Pragmatic problem solver offering actionable solutions rather than simply identifying issues.
• Comfortable working under stringent deadlines and assuming comprehensive project ownership.
• Effective communication skills, consistent follow-ups, and maintaining accountability among teams.

Additional Information

This position is for a Senior Interior Project Manager or Site Project Manager role within the Interior Design, Turnkey Interiors & Furniture industry. The job location is Gurgaon / Delhi NCR. Candidates with preferably over 5 years of experience in Interior / Turnkey Project Execution are ideal.

The employer is Arts N Draftz.

Salary: 15,000 to 27,000 INR per month.
