Position Overview
The role is for a ServiceNow Consultant based in Dubai, UAE. This full-time position requires extensive development and customization of the ServiceNow platform, focusing on ITSM, HAM, SAM, and ITOM modules with a strong emphasis on integrations and platform optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Customize and develop ServiceNow ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change Management, Request, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
- Implement and provide ongoing support for Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions.
- Manage and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Discovery, Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE), Asset Lifecycles, and Software License Management processes.
- Create integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server, and Flow Designer.
- Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise systems such as Microsoft Intune, JAMF, SCCM, Azure AD, Microsoft Graph API, and Tenable.
- Develop and maintain scripting components including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, and Flow Designer workflows.
- Diagnose platform issues, enhance performance, and ensure high data quality across ITSM, HAM, SAM, and ITOM modules.
Qualifications and Experience
- Between 5 to 8 years of direct ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow modules: ITSM, HAM, SAM, and ITOM.
- Experienced with CMDB configuration, Discovery, Service Mapping, Asset and Software License Management.
- Advanced skills in JavaScript with a minimum of 5 to 8 years coding experience.
- Proficient in scripting, custom app development, integrations, Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, REST/SOAP APIs, and Service Portal/Workspace development.
- Hands-on experience with integrating Microsoft Intune, JAMF, SCCM, Azure AD, Microsoft Graph API, and Tenable into the ServiceNow environment.
- Understanding of Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE), Discovery Patterns, and CMDB industry best practices.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, and CIS in ITSM, HAM, SAM, and Discovery are advantageous.
