Service Technician

About the Role

Culligan Ireland seeks a Service Technician to join their team based in the Midlands, specifically around Tullamore, County Offaly. This full-time permanent position, subject to a six-month probationary period, offers a salary of €32,000 per year paid monthly along with a tax-free meal allowance of €4,000 annually. The role centers on delivering exceptional field service involving the installation, maintenance, and sanitation of water coolers and filtration systems to ensure clean and healthy water provision.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular sanitization and disinfection of water coolers and drinking water systems at client sites.
• Execute preventative maintenance to uphold equipment hygiene, safety, and functionality.
• Perform installation, servicing, and repairs on water coolers and filtration units.
• Replace filters and consumable parts according to scheduled service plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and mechanical faults efficiently.
• Log service and sanitization activities through digital systems.
• Maintain and manage van inventory along with necessary tools for daily operational tasks.
• Provide outstanding customer service, representing Culligan professionally.
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines.

Requirements

• Hold a full, valid driving license with no more than six penalty points and free from disqualifying offenses.
• Previous experience in field service, maintenance, technical support, hygiene, or sanitization roles is advantageous though full training on product range will be provided.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and cleanliness.
• Ability to diagnose and remediate technical or mechanical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Self-motivated and capable of independently managing a demanding work schedule.
• Experienced in meeting targets and maintaining service quality standards and KPIs.
• Good geographical knowledge of the Midlands and surrounding locations to optimize service delivery routes.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to a customer-first philosophy.
