Senior UI/UX Designer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior UI/UX Designer based in Australia to join a dynamic team remotely. This role involves crafting engaging digital experiences by blending compelling visual design, user-centered principles, and technical knowledge. The designer will contribute across branding, websites, content, and digital products, turning concepts into interactive and polished experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design user-friendly, visually appealing interfaces for both web and mobile platforms.
• Convert project briefs, business objectives, and product needs into effective user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final visual designs.
• Develop interactive prototypes that illustrate user interaction and behavior beyond static images.
• Apply solid design principles such as grid systems, spacing, typography, layout structure, and consider usability and accessibility standards.
• Leverage AI-assisted design tools to expedite ideation, exploration, and rapid prototyping while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure precise and efficient design implementation.
• Present and justify design choices to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Manage and organize design workflows to enable smooth project delivery.
• Bring innovative and creative ideas to enhance digital user experiences.
• Support diverse projects across branding, web presence, content, and digital marketing initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• At least five years of professional UI/UX, product, or digital design experience at a senior level.
• A strong portfolio showcasing sophisticated UI/UX skills and dynamically designed web experiences.
• Expertise in Figma, including interactive prototyping and creating design systems.
• In-depth understanding of UI/UX fundamentals, usability, information architecture, responsive design, and accessibility basics.
• Excellent visual design capabilities emphasizing grids, spacing, typography, and layout composition.
• Proven ability to work effectively with developers and technical teams.
• Skilled in evolving early concepts into well-executed, production-ready digital products.
• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
• Fluent English communication skills for confident presentations and explanations of design decisions.
• Ability to independently manage work while collaborating seamlessly with a remote team.
• Experience with experimental, immersive, or interactive website design is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is beneficial.
• Skills in motion graphics, animations, micro-interactions, transitions, or 3D asset integration is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI-powered design tools and workflows is a positive asset.
• Experience designing mobile apps, e-commerce platforms, or proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
