Senior Specialist – Infrastructure

Overview

The Senior Specialist – Infrastructure is tasked with supporting the strategic planning, evaluation, and coordination of maritime infrastructure projects within AD Maritime. This role requires technical expertise to review project proposals, validate schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with planning standards and organizational goals. Reporting directly to the Manager – Planning, the incumbent plays a crucial role in preparing project plans, feasibility analyses, and resource forecasts, guaranteeing all infrastructure initiatives receive comprehensive assessment prior to execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in defining project scope, developing schedules, estimating costs, and identifying risks for maritime infrastructure ventures.
• Analyze and validate project proposals, feasibility assessments, concept designs, and preliminary engineering documents.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Technical Support, and Delivery teams to synchronize planning assumptions with technical and operational requirements.
• Maintain an integrated view of timelines, dependencies, milestones, and potential challenges across projects.
• Prepare detailed planning reports, dashboards, and presentations tailored for management evaluation.
• Conduct on-site evaluations as necessary to verify planning data and support project recommendations.
• Ensure all planning documentation adheres to AD Maritime policies, engineering standards, and is kept current during the project lifecycle.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by the Projects Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Proficiency in both English and Arabic languages.
• At least 7 to 8 years of pertinent experience in infrastructure planning or related fields.
• Demonstrated meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
