Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer skilled in developing and supporting Coveo search integrations and AI/ML models to improve search relevance and content discoverability in eCommerce and content platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and support integrations with the Coveo platform, including query pipelines, analytics frameworks, and AI/ML-based models.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance search relevance, optimize content discovery, and improve customer experience.
- Support search use cases across eCommerce and content domains including product discovery and knowledge management articles.
- Configure and optimize merchandising rules, ranking algorithms, synonym management, and relevance tuning within the search environment.
- Design and implement AWS-based ETL data pipelines to handle ingestion, normalization, and enrichment of search-related data.
Candidate Profile and Required Skills
- Minimum 6 years of experience in software engineering roles focused on search, commerce, or content platforms.
- Hands-on expertise with the Coveo platform, including integrations and application of AI/ML models within search solutions.
- Solid understanding of eCommerce concepts, content search methodologies, and analytics interpretation.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, Python, and Java programming languages.
- Experience leveraging AWS services to build scalable data pipelines and enterprise-grade search solutions.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience or familiarity with generative AI and automation approaches is considered an advantage.
