Senior Operations Manager

The team designs systems that drive efficiency and support worldwide growth. The Branch team ensures compliance with local regulations and delivers exceptional service to customers. As a Senior Operations Manager, you will play a key role in shaping Revolut's ongoing global expansion and operation. Your responsibilities will include leading significant initiatives across the business, leveraging insights to resolve challenges, optimize processes, and enhance customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and refining scalable processes that support Revolut's rapid growth trajectory.
• Managing the branch's first line of defense functions such as governance, regulatory engagement, and business-as-usual operations oversight.
• Leading scaling operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Marketing across international offices.
• Tracking country-specific risk events, conduct issues, and resolution efforts while ensuring adherence to controls by engaging with relevant service owners.
• Identifying opportunities related to products, operations, licensing, and growth.
• Exploring and implementing features aimed at delivering a seamless and improved customer experience.
• Handling critical vendor partnerships and establishing performance monitoring frameworks.
• Developing strategic supply chain collaborations and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Operating support teams, managing key stakeholder relationships, and consistently achieving service level agreements.
• Generating and maintaining management information systems that monitor growth metrics, risk events, and overall branch activities.
• Coordinating regulatory inspections and preparing necessary documentation and materials.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree from a reputable university with at least a 2:1 classification.
• Over 4 years of professional experience in a fast-paced setting, ideally within financial services or management consulting in Germany.
• Proven expertise in managing risk, compliance, and outsourced operational functions.
• Demonstrated success in owning and steering complex projects from initiation through completion.
• Ability to deconstruct intricate problems into manageable tasks effectively.
• Strong innate curiosity paired with a drive to make a meaningful impact.

Additional Preferences

• Experience engaging with regulatory bodies is an advantage.
