As a Senior Manager in Logistics Operations based in Doha, Qatar, you will oversee Talabat Egypt's entire supply ecosystem, ensuring a high-quality, sustainable, and dynamic rider fleet aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead supply chain efforts for Talabat Egypt to maintain a reliable and scalable rider base.
• Develop and implement strategies for supply growth and rider acquisition based on market needs.
• Forecast long-term supply needs and plan accordingly to meet service standards.
• Innovate by introducing new supply channels such as female riders, refugees, micro-financing options, and e-bikes to diversify the fleet.
• Oversee third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships, including selection, onboarding, performance monitoring, and contract management.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for 3PLs to ensure adherence and quality.
• Build strong partnerships with key 3PLs to ensure operational excellence.
• Manage on-ground operations teams to guarantee smooth daily functions and compliance.
• Monitor operational metrics such as rider supply rate, earnings per hour, on-time order rates, and churn.
• Implement standardized workflows and leverage digital tools to enhance operational visibility and scalability.
• Mentor and guide a high-performing team across supply, 3PL, and operations domains.
• Foster a culture emphasizing accountability, collaboration, and continuous advancement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including People, Finance, Commercial, and Product to align strategies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to boost efficiency and rider satisfaction.
• Promote automation and technology solutions to increase performance monitoring and operational control.
• Manage equipment such as uniforms, delivery boxes, and e-bikes to uphold consistent operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with key performance indicators including supply run rates, rider retention, 3PL adherence, rider satisfaction (NPS), and operational coverage.
• Plan strategically for sustained growth to reinforce Talabat's leadership in the market.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent practical experience, including compliance or auditing backgrounds.
• At least 5 years of operational experience in dynamic settings; experience in FoodTech logistics or management consulting is advantageous.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and fostering strong workplace culture.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on detail management and complex decision-making.
• Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets and strong analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Arabic language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
• Highly organized, process-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Willingness to travel across Talabat markets as required.
