Senior Finance Manager

Overview

We are collaborating with a premier Energy company to recruit a Senior Finance Manager to become part of a dynamic leadership team. This pivotal role demands full ownership of the finance function, ensuring solid financial governance, precise reporting, and efficient engagement with shareholders, lenders, and principal partners.

Key Duties

• Oversee daily finance operations guaranteeing accuracy and punctuality.
• Manage payments to lenders and suppliers, ensuring all financial duties are met timely and correctly.
• Drive the adoption of a new financial system aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and automating processes and reports.
• Generate and present timely financial reports to shareholders, lenders, and the Board.
• Build and sustain detailed financial models to aid business performance analysis and informed decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to IFRS, PPP accounting standards, and internal governance protocols.
• Communicate financial outcomes, including profit and loss and financial statements, to relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to budget preparation, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial planning.
• Maintain rigorous financial controls, governance, and compliance throughout the organization.
• Collaborate closely with leadership on commercial and strategic finance projects supporting organizational growth.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or closely related fields.
• Holds a professional accounting certification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Proven hands-on experience in finance leadership within small to medium-sized organizations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial modelling, IFRS, and Public-Private Partnership accounting is critical.
• Experienced with joint ventures, government-linked institutions, or sectors such as infrastructure, utilities, energy, or industrial projects.
• Skillful in project finance, lender reporting, and shareholder communications.
• Capable of independently managing end-to-end finance operations.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a track record of meeting stringent deadlines reliably.
• Effective communicator with confidence in presenting financial data to high-level stakeholders.
