Senior Digital & Technology Officer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Digital & Technology Officer to lead and manage IT infrastructure, network systems, cybersecurity, and technical support across the organization. This role requires oversight of enterprise IT environments, ensuring uptime, security, and smooth operations aligned with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage systems, and enterprise software configurations.
• Oversee network architecture and optimize connectivity across LAN, WAN, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls, ensuring robust performance and redundancy.
• Lead troubleshooting for complex network and infrastructure issues, implementing solutions to maximize availability and uptime.
• Provide advanced technical support and serve as an escalation point for IT Officers on hardware, software, and applications issues.
• Customize IT solutions for different departments and facilitate user training to maximize effective use of technology resources.
• Continuously monitor infrastructure performance and security with advanced tools; manage deployment of intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint security, and vulnerability scanners.
• Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements; respond proactively to security incidents.
• Supervise procurement and maintenance of enterprise software and hardware, ensuring licensing compliance and hardware lifecycle management.
• Deliver site-specific IT support at operational and remote locations, maintaining systems according to organizational requirements.
• Develop and maintain robust data backup and disaster recovery plans; conduct regular testing to ensure planned recovery capability.
• Lead IT infrastructure projects, coordinating with management to meet project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, including cloud and hybrid solutions deployment.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and prepare regular reports on IT performance and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CCNP, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Azure Systems Administrator, or equivalents.
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, ITIL, AWS, or Azure Cloud Architect credentials.

Experience & Competencies

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and technical support management, preferred experience within asset management industry.
• Strong expertise in managing Windows/Linux servers, network infrastructure, and enterprise applications.
• Solid grasp of cybersecurity technologies and protocols including firewalls, antivirus solutions, and data protection methods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proven capacity to diagnose complex IT issues efficiently.
• Effective communication skills to articulate technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Collaborative team player comfortable working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and emerging technologies in a dynamic environment.
