Senior Designer - Global Creative

About the Role

This full-time opportunity is a 6-month W2 contract based in El Segundo, CA, requiring a hybrid work schedule with two days per week remote work. Fully remote candidates will not be eligible. The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $45 to $49 per hour.

The role champions brand innovation for a renowned cosmetics company, reporting directly to the AVP of Global Creative. You will lead 360-degree print and digital campaigns that emphasize bold self-expression and break away from conventional norms in beauty branding.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage high-profile design campaigns across print and digital channels for significant product launches and impactful brand initiatives.
• Collaborate extensively with global teams to assess creative needs, provide strategic solutions, and manage multiple feedback cycles and deadlines.
• Offer art direction for photography sessions, guide post-production revisions, and coordinate with external agencies to complement in-house efforts.
• Lead and mentor a team of designers, effectively communicating concepts through compelling visual presentations and interactive prototypes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in creative leadership roles with proven expertise in project management and concept development.
• Preferably experienced within the beauty or luxury sectors.
• Degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design.
• Advanced skills in design principles including typography, color usage, and layout, with mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Basic troubleshooting skills for Mac and PC; familiarity with PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams beneficial.
• A portfolio showcasing design thinking tailored to beauty and a keen attention to typographic trends.
