Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with considerable experience who is self-driven and adept at transforming complex datasets into practical insights. This position emphasizes rigorous experimentation, strong statistical methods, and prompt delivery of results, requiring independence and intellectual curiosity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end machine learning and statistical modeling tasks—from framing problems and engineering features to evaluating, iterating, and delivering models into production.
• Explore and analyze intricate datasets, partnering closely with engineers to define and validate data input pipelines for model development.
• Create and maintain reliable evaluation frameworks for models that support informed decisions on modeling approaches, vendor choices, and system architectures.
• Design, conduct, and assess well-structured experiments including hypothesis testing and optimization strategies.
• Act as the primary data science liaison on projects, collaborating with clients' R&D and analytics teams to translate business needs into precise modeling solutions that deliver measurable impact.
• Take ownership of the quality and timely completion of data science deliverables, managing the entire process from design through execution.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Strong skills in statistical modeling, machine learning, and rigorous model evaluation techniques.
• Experience designing and executing structured experiments, including A/B testing and causal inference.
• Competency with supervised and unsupervised learning tasks across classification, regression, clustering, and time series data.
• Experience leveraging large language models and generative AI within data science processes.
• Exceptional English communication skills for articulating complex analytical outcomes to both technical and lay audiences.
• Proficiency in Python programming, including libraries such as pandas and scikit-learn.
• Comfortable handling and querying large datasets using SQL or equivalent technologies.
• Demonstrated analytical rigor and a questioning mindset towards data results.
• Ability to excel in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
• Proven track record of independent work, proactive responsibility for results, and effective contribution to small, tightly integrated teams.
