About the Opportunity
The consulting team is looking for an experienced Senior Business/Financial Analyst to play an important role in delivering high-quality analytics across projects and client work, with a focus on financial services. This position offers the chance to work in a fast-moving environment that supports critical services in Australia’s aged care and disability sectors, while building capability, gaining hands-on exposure, and contributing to meaningful outcomes.
In this role, you will be part of a collaborative consulting environment and involved in a range of accounting and advisory activities that directly influence the financial performance and decision-making of clients in the aged care and disability space.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and refine financial models, carry out analysis, and present clear findings to clients.
- Work with data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting to produce useful strategic insights.
- Use professional judgment and healthy skepticism to protect the accuracy and reliability of financial and operational data.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders across the full project lifecycle.
- Contribute to project delivery while working closely with senior leaders and clients.
- Help introduce AI tools to improve analysis, forecasting, reporting, and automation across business processes.
- Guide and support junior team members while keeping projects on track for deadlines and budget targets.
What the Employer Is Looking For
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience in financial analysis, data analysis, consulting, statistics, or a similar field.
- Background in consulting or professional services, especially within the aged care sector, will be viewed favourably.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities, along with excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence in building client relationships and handling several projects at once.
- Advanced capability in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and BI tools.
- Hands-on exposure to AI and machine learning for pattern recognition, trend forecasting, and data-led recommendations.
