Position Summary

The Dungannon office, previously operated as K. Magill & Co., is experiencing substantial expansion and transformation. This growth has created a new position for a qualified senior accountant to join the portfolio team. The role offers promising career development opportunities and the chance to work with dynamic SME clients.

Key Duties

  • Compile financial statements for companies (non-audit), sole traders, and partnerships, progressing them through to Partner review while ensuring adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and submit Corporation Tax and Income Tax returns accurately and on time.
  • Manage the preparation, review, and filing of VAT, RCT, and PAYE returns.
  • Oversee the completion and submission of Companies Registration Office (CRO) documentation.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior team members, aiding their professional growth.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess between 1 to 4 years of experience in general accounting practice.
  • Hold ACA/ACCA qualification or be actively pursuing part-qualification.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for working within the SME sector and a strong ambition to build a long-term career within an expanding professional services environment.

Employment Terms

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Dungannon, United Kingdom, with a hybrid work model.
