Job Overview
The Lead Security Officer is responsible for overseeing comprehensive security operations within the plant premises. This role ensures the safety and protection of all personnel, assets, materials, and property by enforcing rigorous security measures and protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Control access through gate management, monitor vehicle movements, and supervise visitor and contractor activities.
- Manage incident reporting and handling to sustain a secure and compliant environment.
- Conduct training sessions, briefings, and supervise the performance of security personnel to enhance vigilance, discipline, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications and Competencies
- Graduated in any field with either a minimum of 2 years in the Armed Forces or 10 years of experience in Industrial Security.
- Proficient in operating CCTV systems, access control mechanisms, maintaining continuous surveillance in line with security standards.
- Competent in supporting emergency drills, fire response, evacuation procedures, and communication protocols.
- Expertise in managing visitor safety, controlling employee and vehicle entries and exits, and ensuring accurate maintenance of logs and reports.
- Adept at identifying, analyzing, reporting, and preventing security incidents or near misses.
- Capable of enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), deployment schedules, and disciplinary standards among outsourced security personnel.
- Ensures compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
