About the Role
Soccer Shots - Orange County invites a motivated Scrum Master to join their expanding team remotely. This role focuses on leading agile project delivery, encouraging innovation and collaboration among teams in a dynamic environment. The Scrum Master will help teams achieve their highest potential by facilitating Agile processes and fostering continuous progress.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily scrum meetings, sprint planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach cross-functional teams on best practices within Agile and Scrum.
- Identify and eliminate obstacles to ensure effective sprint execution.
- Monitor and communicate team velocity, sprint status, and other Agile performance indicators.
- Promote a culture centered around ongoing improvement, responsibility, and team collaboration.
- Act as an intermediary among product owners, development teams, and stakeholders.
- Assist the product owner in managing and enhancing the product backlog's quality.
Requirements
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification preferred.
- Minimum of two years experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
- In-depth knowledge of Scrum, Agile frameworks, and Kanban methodology.
- Strong skills in facilitation, effective communication, and resolving conflicts.
- Proficient in project management software like Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
- Ability to collaborate with both technical personnel and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and committed to servant leadership principles.
