Role Overview
This full-time Script Writer position operates in a hybrid model, primarily based in Prayagraj with some remote working flexibility. The individual will be responsible for developing scripts and screenplays for various media formats such as films, web series, commercials, and other video content, ensuring alignment with project requirements and brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
The Script Writer will:
- Collaborate with directors and producers to brainstorm and develop story concepts.
- Outline narrative arcs and write dialogues and scenes that convey the intended story effectively.
- Revise script drafts based on feedback, maintaining narrative flow and pacing.
- Coordinate with the production team to adapt scripts for filming logistics and technical demands.
- Manage version control for all script documents.
- Meet deadlines while juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications and Skills
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
- Proficiency in scriptwriting, screenplay development, and scripting techniques to produce compelling narratives and authentic dialogue.
- Experience in writing for visual media, encompassing story development, character design, and scene structuring.
- Understanding of video production workflows to ensure scripts are feasible for filming.
- Excellent English writing skills complemented by strong editing and revision capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with creative teams and incorporate constructive feedback.
- Preferably relevant experience in film, TV, or digital content writing; academic background in Film Studies, Creative Writing, Mass Communication, or similar fields is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills for managing time effectively and handling multiple projects in a hybrid work setting based in Prayagraj.
